WHAT WE DO

Half Life Media creates story-driven films and provides creative video and media services for businesses and non-profit organizations.

WHAT DOES HALF LIFE MEAN?
Half-life is the time required for any specified property to decrease by half. Typically the term makes you think of carbon-14 dating and isotopes and radioactivity, but everything has a half-life. We like the phrase because it's a constant, personal challenge: to push the limit on how long the media we create remains current and useful for our clients.

WHY WE DO IT

Everyone and every organization has a story to tell.  Whether it's an in house creative production or a client promotional video, we love getting to the core of these stories and finding the best visual way to tell them.

Half Life Media was founded by Angela Pinaglia, a filmmaker, photographer and educator. She is currently in production on Synchro, a feature length documentary about synchronized ice skating and finishing up co-producing Riding Wild, also a feature length documentary film with Eyesore Productions. Her work has screened at the River Town Film Festival, Richmond International Film Festival and aired on PBS WETA. She teaches at Kutztown University in the Cinema, Television and Media Production Department and has taught as an adjunct professor at American University. Angela lives in Baltimore but was born and raised in Miami. She earned a M.F.A. in Film and Electronic Media from American University and a B.A. in English from the University of Florida.

We work with other local industry professionals to produce videos that engage audiences without breaking the bank.
